Maine’s Wild Blueberry Festival ran August 5 through 9 at the Union Fairgrounds in Union, marking another year of the Midcoast’s tribute to agriculture and the state’s official fruit.

The fair blends classic agricultural traditions with entertainment for all ages, including live music, a demolition derby, and fireworks. Blueberry Corner remained a centerpiece of the week, where visitors could learn about the wild blueberry industry that makes Maine responsible for the vast majority of the country’s wild blueberry production.

The event draws thousands of visitors from around the Midcoast each summer. More information on the fair is available here.
