The 23rd Annual Maine Lighthouse Ride is set for Saturday, September 19, at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, with organizers expecting nearly 1,000 cyclists to take part.

Riders can choose from four route lengths — 25, 40, 62 or 100 miles — each winding along the southern Maine coast with stunning nature views and several of the region’s lighthouses.

Registration fees support the Eastern Trail Alliance, a nonprofit that builds, maintains and promotes the Eastern Trail, a multi-use greenway spanning southern Maine.
